Pholcoidea
The Pholcoidea superfamily primarily includes the Pholcidae, also known as “cellar spiders,” recognizable by their elongated bodies and very long, thin legs.
They build irregular, tangled webs, often in dark corners of houses, caves, or under rocks in tropical environments.
Among the families found in this superfamily:
- Pholcidae, widespread in Southeast Asia and easily recognizable
- (Other families are sometimes mentioned depending on the classification, but Pholcidae are by far the best known)
